Its name is the game: It’s called “purr” and it purrs like a kitten! Experience its benefits in action. Compared to conventional saw blades, it cuts firewood particularly quietly, wowing both users and neighbours.
The “purr” saw blade is produced in Germany and is now installed as standard in all POSCH tilting saws and tilting saws with conveyor belts. Of course, this purre cutting experience can also be retrofitted!
Thanks to innovative noise absorption technology and a specially developed tooth geometry, “purr” massively reduces the noise level during cutting, providing for a more pleasant work environment. At idle, it emits 72 dB(A) instead of 92 dB(A)* as before.
As you have accustomed to, the new saw blade consists of sturdy and long-lasting materials that prolong the saw blade’s service life and promise excellent cutting results. Adding to the usual WIDIA quality is the benefit of significant noise reduction.
*Measured on a tilting saw with direct drive, at the operating person’s ear.
